The Hackathon

The Hackathon

What is a Hackathon?

The Hackathon is an event with the intention of providing a chance for participants coming from different background such as STEM, Business, Arts to team up together, and based on given challenges, to come up with an app or software within a certain period of time.

In this hackathon, we will see participants from different institutions around Malaysia to come together in teams and innovate within 24 hours together to come up with a prototype to present to the judges. Besides having the chance to win the prize pool, participants also have the chance to network with the mentors and judges that are going to be at the event.

Theme and Topic

Our theme for this year hackathon is on Education. Utilising this event to have participants come together and innovate on ideas that would improve the quality of education or to increase access to education. We expect participants to utilise whatever technology that is available, from using public databases to artificial intelligence to create something new.
